The window
You have 14 days from delivery to reach out. Email RainbowJoyBooks@gmail.com or text (314) 669-5720 with your order number and what happened.
If it arrived damaged or wrong
Send us a photo. We will replace it or refund it in full, your choice, and you do not need to ship anything back. That is on us, not on you.
If you changed your mind
Send it back unused and in the condition it arrived, and we will refund the item price once it lands. Return shipping is the customer's cost in that case. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days of us receiving the return.
A word about gently used
Most of what we sell has been read before, and we describe condition honestly in every listing. Small shelf wear, a soft corner, or a name written inside the cover is part of a secondhand book's life and is not a defect. If a listing missed something that changes how you feel about the book, that is our mistake and we will refund it.
Sealed and one-of-a-kind items
Countdown calendars and other sealed items can be returned unopened. Once the seal or the daily envelopes are opened they cannot be returned, because the surprises inside are the product. Most books here are single copies, so if you return one we may not be able to swap it for an identical replacement. We will refund instead.
Gift orders
Buying ahead for a birthday or a holiday? Tell us in the order notes and we will extend your return window to 14 days past the gift date.
