Here's what that means in plain terms.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWhat you might find, and why it's fine:\u003c\/strong\u003e a child's name written inside the front cover, a softened or slightly bent corner, light shelf wear, a price sticker on the back. That's a book that got loved, and we think it counts in its favor — it means some other kid already couldn't put it down.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWhat you'll never find:\u003c\/strong\u003e torn or missing pages, missing flaps or pieces on interactive books, writing on the story pages themselves, water damage or mildew, or a library barcode and stamp.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eAnd if I miss something?\u003c\/strong\u003e If a book ever arrives in worse shape than promised, I'll replace it or refund it — just message the shop.
